National Constitution Center | Civic Holidays System Design
The goal of this system design for the Civic Holidays at the National Constitution Center was to capture the attention of high school students. I targeted high school students to help make history more appealing to them. I created an editorial/newspaper theme through hand–lettered headlines and utilized old newspapers as a background element. I also illustrated iconic figures to represent each holiday in a way that was strongly inspired by Shepard Fairey's artistic methods. The entire system is designed to visually relate historical information in an artistic format that appeals to high school students.
The system design includes: a logo, poster campaign, publication, application, admission tickets, buttons, t–shirt, and gift shop wrapping paper.
